Better quality than the cheaper models I have purchased. Nicer build and better accuracy makes it more useful for precise measures. I use the cheaper simpler models for checking case necks on fired rounds of ammo and to check the diameter of loose projectiles for sorting. This I use for more precise measures and it does a great job.
