Works OK, but could benefit from more care during manufacturing. Too many sharp edges that should have been removed before assembly given the price. It is possible to remove them by means of a 1200 grit abrasive paper. The best result will be achieved if you dismantle it. Four screws are hiding underneath the sticker with the table on the back. You can feel the holes with your finger. Both sides of the knurled screw ontop of the display, you find two small buried screws. They can benefit from some minor adjustment to thighten the sliding mechanism. If you remove them, take notice of their placement because they are slightly different. One of them is meant to fit into a small hole in the bronze leaf spring that takes up the slack. When sharp edges are removed and some minor adjustemts are taken care of, it is a quite nice caliper. Seems to be accurate and the zeroing is also OK. Nice to find extra batteries and the plastic case gives protection.
