Works great standalone. Connecting to MCU requires some precautions: UART voltage 3.3 v (otherwise annoying noise comes through and module initialization takes longer). Even with 5-3.3 level conversion, some digital noise passes through. As expected, can't drive but small speaker, however, earphones work great. No problems with the card, finding rightly named mp3 files, etc. Fortunately, my project does not require hi-fi sound.
