I test this psu on my electronic load and was amazed to see it can go as high as 3.3amp @ 60 degree C.At 2.5amp the temp. go up to 56 degree C, but that was without any heatsink and with only about 150mv voltage dropp . It's rated at 2.5amp. The ripple is 73mv. I'd say, a bit high for audio use but you can always add a filter to it.At the mains side i even note a M.O.V This is a great psu and you can buy it without any doubt.
