These lights work perfectly. Originally I thought powering them using usb from the computer, but I think that the current draw would be too high. Make sure you have a usb poweradapter that can provide the amperage needed. In my case (52cm, 5V, 8W = 1.6A (box says 1.2A ?). Just to be safe, pick 5V/2A adapters
