It has a function that as you move the laser will vary the live measurement, also has another function of the maximum and minimum value recorded in the measurements. Very good purchase!!! I am pleased with the unit at this time, charges in a reasonable amount of time & now at about 2 weeks of daily use. about 10 measures per day it is still above 50% charge.

amazing single button little gadget. very accurate and extremely useful for home users as well as for more advanced ones. for outdoor, in a cloudy day, i manage to get a good measure up to 25 meters and for indoor is flawless, from 30mm up. the screen is very bright and has very good viewing angles. a single short press of the button wakes up the device, another press starts the laser beacon and the third press takes the measure, which is almost instantaneously displayed on screen. it has onscreen 3+1 history readings. with laser of (not power of), hold button 1sec and it enters continuous reading mode; another sort press exits this mode to normal reading. it has a very intuitive setup (boot) menu accessible from power of state. just hold button for about 3 second. here you can setup things like calibration (i think) , measuring units (inch, feet, meters) and backlight on/off. it has a very helpful strap. simple device with a nice design, solid aluminium rectangular body. it charges from any 5v micro usb power device. fast delivery, great seller.

It works well but the 40 metres are in special conditions I reckon between 10 and 20 metres works perfect. for longer distances if special conditions have to be met. does not give the same results of operation in closed places, which flattens daylight

anche questa volta bancud mi ha davvero sorpreso. arrivato dopo appena 10 giorni dall'ordine. il misuratore è davvero piccolo e compatto ma anche molto accurato nella rilevazione delle misure. in dotazione nel pacco c'è oltre al manuale di istruzioni anche un cavetto di ricarica e il cordoncino per fissarlo al polso

A professional tool for measuring, seems to be very accurate. Easy to use, only the display could be bigger, the digits are a bit small for older eyes. I just compared with an expensiver tool, the LS-1S successfully passed the test :)
