I was looking for a way to get my home built lab DC power supply to deliver more volts than the 12 volt transformer was putting out. This little beauty was exactly what I needed. At 12 volts in I was able to get 36 volts DC out ( haven't tried to go too much higher ). On a side note, for those that are complaining that their module isn't working correctly or is only giving out the same voltage as what they are putting in - you must make sure that you are putting in at least 10 volts DC for it to start BOOSTING voltage. I did some tests to confirm and anything under 10 volts would only give me the same volts out, but with a minimum of 10.2 volts in and I could get upwards to 36 volts DC out. This is a must have - even though I like to build my own circuits, I could not even buy the boost IC for the price of this entire module ( so I cheated and bought it, so that I could concentrate on finishing my DC power supply ).
