Nice little motors, depending on where you buy the EMAX motors there are different Quality ones in the net. So Far mine from Banggood (it came in a Hardcase and fancy stuff) is very good with smooth bearings. I had 4 from AliExpress and those were crap, So if you want them buy em here. I will change to Sunnysky or Cobra Motors, but only because they work better on 4S.

I bought 4 of these to build a 250 size quadcopter, 3 of them came with 3 sets of screws, in different sizes, whuch is really nice. but one of the motors came only with 4 screws, the smaller ones, which are useless to me. I 'll have to build the quad with only three screws in each motor, for these screws are not easy to find in local shops. They seem great, other than that. Still have to test them in flight

They are great motors especially given the price. They only weigh it at 18g without the nub.

This is a motor for a drone though it will work fine on a plane. Since I fly planes it's perfectly fine for my needs. However, a few things need addressing. First, there is no mounting bracket that comes with this. I really don't know if you can buy them? If worse comes to worse you may have to make your own out of balsa wood or metal. As you can tell from the photos there are no bullet connectors on the motor. I know your first instinct is to solder/crimp the wires to the speed controller. Make a point of using bullet connectors anyway. They will come in handy. From what I can tell, this motor will do fine with a 12A speed controller. This motor is ideal for between 600 to 800mm planes. It just arrived, and I haven't used it yet. What I will say about this motor is that this is by far the nicest packaging a motor has ever come in. Motors usually come in the plastic clamshell packaging like they'll be hanging from J-hooks on a store shelf. The case will be used for other things once the motor is installed.
