Works really great! I tested this one on a Nexus 5 and a Samsung A5, both work great. It won't work on an Huawei (P Smart), because Huawei don't have the necessary drivers/hardware on the phone. It's really just a manner of plug and play, if you have the correct app installed. I've installed the free app "Go FPV". This device keeps your setup small and simple, because you only need a phone! When connected to the phone (the cable is somewhat cheap and you mustn't play with the cable, because the connection to this device will be interrupted), one can search the desired tuning frequency with the two buttons on this receiver. The step size is about 2 - 3 MHz. When long pressing one button, the device will switch to auto tune mode and it will do a frequency sweep across it's frequency range and will display a chart about the signal level on each frequency. Than it will automatically tune to the frequency with the highest signal level. See the attached picture (this happened in flight by accidentality pressing the buttons, I don't recommend doing this, because during tuning you will see mostly noise, but nevertheless, it gives you a nice example of what it looks like). And than you are ready to go!
