This is a nice, cheap item and it is exactly as pictured and described. However, the units that I received would not recognize any USB driver on my MacBook Pro within the Arduino SDK. I followed the advice of another reviewer and did a Google search for CH341SER and was directed to a website which had driver packages for Windows, Linux and Macintosh. Even though the site was in Chinese, the file names were discernible in English. Download and installation were very quick and just required a restart of the computer. Upon running the Arduino SDK after restart, there was a new serial port available, (cu.wchusbserial) which provided perfect access to the Nano board!
