A little more challenging than the usual fare, which is good. The SMD's were a little more awkward than usual, but reading through a few of the questions and answers on here (and following the circuit drawings) and I now have a nice fully functional clock. Placement of chips is crucial to success, my first attempt was not good as I didn't realise I hadn't actually soldered all the feet of the STC micro controller properly! I found the comments from 1 user (sivascu) extremely helpful, along with the photographs provided. Good fun project, ordered 2 more to make as gifts!
