While this isnt a lightweight flashlight, that weight speaks to the build quality. This light feels solid and well-built in the hand. The pocket clip has just the right amount of tension for my taste. The ability to dial down the output to very low sub 1-lumen values is nice. I know there are better thrower lights, better flood lights, longer runtime lights, higher output lights and fancier lights, but this is a really excellent all-around light. The hotspot is punchy enough to throw a reasonable distance while the spill of the beam is wide and bright enough to provide plenty of ambient illumination. At just shy of 1,000 lumens, its got more than enough brightness for most tasks. While the light is a bit too heavy for my taste to every-day-carry, as a bedside, camping, hiking, walking light, I love it. I should also note that the pictures with the two extensions on the light are pretty accurate; its much less attractive and very long in 18650 guise, and I wouldnt add the extensions unless I really needed the extended runtime.
