The two main advantages are: 1 - Charge simultaneously different batteries types and sizes. 2 - Charge batteries through AC current or 12V car battery. 3 - The LCD has good readability with big numbers. However there are some negative points that you must know and consider: 1 - This charger incredibly has no ventilation holes at all, neither at least a single one. This is slightly bigger compared to the “old” (I bought it only last May) model and nearly identical with it, except of the large display.
