I've read the reviews on this oscilloscope and watched several You-Tube videos where people have built and tested these, I have to agree, it's a great piece of gear for the money. Sure it's not going to replace your expensive bench top oscilloscope but it will fit in your travel bag much easier than your bench unit and it will run off a 9 volt battery too! I used this kit as an excuse to test a tiny usb powered soldering iron I also got from Banggood. I don't know which I like better; both performed beyond expectations. The only component that required me to drag out another soldering iron was the connector for the probe. I may have been able to solder this too with the lighter usb iron but I chose to use more heat with a larger iron rather than risk over heating the circuit board pads with the tiny usb iron. My oscilloscope required very little adjustment of the two adjustment capacitors. The instructions are a little vague in spots but with the help of You Tube videos and the online support forum you should not have too much trouble figuring out the controls once you have it built.
