I used the waterproof case to protect a sonoff basic I have installed inside my kitchen extractor hood to give me smart control over the light. The case gives me peace of mind that the unit will be protected from moisture. The sonoff is a tight fit inside the case, I had to leave the cable clamp covers off. I marked 1 star down for quality as one of the screw heads sealing the case lid did not have the cross slot machined out fully so I could not tighten it with a screwdriver.
