This protective glasses is intended to be used during welding works at tight space for short time welding runs. This welding "helmet" will protect yours eyes only but not skin of face against hard UV light from welding arc. For long welding runs a full size welding helmet must be used. The installed LCD cartridge is marked as having 2 levels of darkness DIN3 and DIN11. But for my opinion it provide dark level not better than DIN9. This level is good for small arc powers but too weak for more power arcs. The fabrication quality is so-so.
