It is the cheapest DVR with high number of channels. The installation is easy and the internal menu is quite good and supportive. It is working via ONVIF with all different IP cameras. The recording is also working properly altough the default is H264, I hope the H265 is also working. I coudn't check it yet but it is important. This is a basic but good enough, cheap NVR. There are two negative features: - The motion detection is not accurate at all, sometomes it creates alarm for the moving of the trees but nothing for a human moving, usually simple nothing. This is adjustable but not obvious. - The other thisg is the poor mobile client. It is working properly and quite stable but contains only really basic features. The motions detection based recorded video searching is really missing. Regardless of it this is a cheap, basic device. Good price value ratio for basic usage.

There was no major problem with Hickvision and Dahua cameras, cameras from Arecontvision DVR can be found, but not displayed, cameras Hundai (rebrand Hickvision) need to be set manually, it would like to work on the firmware for the ONVIF protocol
