As a first time user a amazing thing to mess around with! Used this power supply to test it (http://www.banggood.com/1_25-32V-DC-Adjustable-Power-Step-Down-Module-With-DIY-Case-p-990880.html). After reading some warnings I set it to 5v and trimmed the Amp output all the way down. It quickly becomes so hot on the hot side that the cool side get hot also, so be very carefull when powering it up without a proper heatsink! It looks and feels sturdy.
