This product is great! Not only does it work with tripods, but you can use it as a standalone mount as well. I use it to mount my phone everywhere that I can in my car . It's large enough to accommodate any sized phone case too. You would think that it is made of cheap plastic, but the plastic is actually very thick and able to withstand drops from 5-6 feet without breaking. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a cell phone bracket mount.
