The unit and the display look nice, and from comparison to my other geiger counters it appears to provide reasonable readings of CPM and estimate of uSv/hr (using the default calibration values). However, you have to wait a minute to get the initial average reading, which presumably would become more accurate over time (as it averages over a longer period). If you want to measure a different object you would then have to reset the unit to get an accurate value for the new average reading. I will be keeping this in my glovebox for taking a 'spot' reading in case of suspected emergency.
