Q: How do i make it stop draining the battery, (it turns its self on after 4 hours without the key)

Dodo I haven't built it into the car yet. I use it as a desktop Android tablet. Connect the red and yellow wires and get +12 V together about ignition. This has not caused an error so far and is sure to have 0 mA current. 500 mA during operation, Screen switch off 300 mA.

Dodo Hardware: "G" connector (power outlet, pin 4). Connect + 12V to the orange red (ILL) wire. Software: Settings - General - Backligh control - OFF When ON, it turns off. (interesting...) I don't put it in the car yet because it's cold. So I always have to put it on the table.

Q: what gauge are the wire legs of the resistors? do they work well in bread boards?

Dodo Yes, it is magnetic. The bit does not fall.
