Pete Ward Yes this is normal. This flashlight draws the maximum it can to create the brightest single cell flashlight on the market.

Pete Ward 3D being the whitest I prefer because it looks brighter than the other's.

Pete Ward Half click or off and back on within one second. Or half press for 1.5 seconds to go to previous modes.

Pete Ward Yes it will work with all 18650 batteries. Flat top, button top, protected and unprotected. High drain batteries are recommended for best results.
