My second KSGER station. These are great, don't hesitate to buy. My first station had the infamous bad, punctured bulk capacitor and R10 resistor that drained the backup battery had to be removed. I recapped the power supply board, changed out the mosfet and schottky rectifier to known good quality ones, they were not plastic insulated like the originals so I used ceramic insulators and thermal grease. I also upgraded the bridge rectifier and removed the connector from the power board for the controller, no need to have two connectors. My new station has non-insulated mosfet and diode with silicon insulator. no thermal compound noticed. The connector for the controller power wires is gone, wires soldered to board. Capacitors all look good. Main controller appears to have had a revision, R10 is no longer present and other things appear different but Id have to compare them. The bad, the "upgraded" 907 handle sucks, the cheap FX9501 that use to come with it has very short grip to tip distance, the 907 feels like soldering with a 2X4. Also the nut and sleeve holding the tip in negates the quick change aspect of the T12 tips. My 907 handle that was included has a crappy shake sensor that sticks sometimes and is generally wonky, its a different style then whats included with most KSGER handles. Also mine came wired with the NTC and shake sensor wires swapped at the connector. Overall these are great stations I highly recommend them but upgrade the included "upgraded" handle as soon as possible. Also, I have no idea who likes the included knife tip, order some tips when you order the station!
