Q: how much Ampere esc cao use

Asked by BG571710105 on 2022-02-15 11:16:02

bambibula I am running the motor on 2S batteries and a 5x4 prop, and the maximum static AMP draw is under 7 AMP, while the average AMP draw in flight is 2-3A. For my setup I use 10A - 20A ESCs. If you are using 3S batteries, and-or larger props, then go for a 20A ESC.

Q: what battery do u use for it?

Asked by BG383315543 on 2021-10-07 01:57:03

bambibula I am planning to use the camera on a fixed wing model. I have tested it on the ground with power from the receiver, and it works fine. This means, I have attached a servo plug to the camera for power. I use an additional capacitor, which is also plugged into the receiver, to smooth the power supply.

bambibula It does have a twist throttle, and will reach about 25 km h with it. This can be increased, and the instructions how to do that are on the manufacturer's website. We have not changed the setting.

Q: Hi, is the battery removable for charging indoors?

bambibula No. The battery is fixed by screws and cannot be removed without tools.

bambibula The direction of the rotation (CW or CCW) refers to the direction in which you twist the prop-nut (the spinner) to lock it. The propeller then turns in the opposite direction, to keep the nut closed. If you take the motor with the silver spinner (CW) then the prop spins counter clockwise, which is the traditional direction for a motor that is mounted in the nose of an airplane. You can use the CW motor in a pusher configuration, if you turn around the prop. If you lose the spinner, a motor that locks its prop-nut clockwise (CW), merely requires a normal M5 nut (any nut, from any bolt), and you do not need to purchase a special nut with a reverse thread. That's why I buy the CW version, also for pushers.

Q: can it be programmed via throttle?

Asked by romanjasen on 2019-09-30 05:43:19

bambibula The packet contains instructions, including how to use the throttle to calibrate the ESC and to set the brake. The other settings require a programming card.
