Q: Is it ok to use this product with a 12v 20ah gel car battery?

ste_gadd just find capacitor mod on YouTube and add the 1000uf 25v capacitor as described, which will fix the problem permanently for a few pence or cents.

Q: why there's a capacitor inside the packet? (the green one) it's also in the pictures: where it has to be soldered?

ste_gadd if you look for the red mini spot welder and then look up the capacitor mod information (1000uf) on YouTube before you do anything, then you'll see that although it IS a bad design, it can be fixed and then it will be a great little spot welder.

Do exactly want you'd expect, they are supprisingly tough, you can solder, resolder, desolder as much as you want, they are pretty bullet proof.

Really great little camera for the price, well thought out and designed and possibly the smallest and best for what I needed. Everything else I looked at was bigger and far mor expensive.
