Q: What is the difference between iRangeX IRX4 plus and iRangeX IRX4?

Osmac X The IRX PLUS version has a yellow control for manually changing protocols in PPM mode. IRX only works in sries mode.

Q: will this work with the DJI Mavic Air?

webmaven Did you use it with the Mavic Air or Mavic Pro? I have a Mavic Air and want to use my Fatshark Goggles with a tablet. I like that this tablet is small and looks like it would fit in the controller without an adapter.

This unit is working great with my MAVIC drone. A lot of phones and tablets will work with the MAVIC but few have an HDMI out jack. This one does and it works great with my FPV headset which has HDMI input. There is no way you can beat the price vs performance of this one!

I had trouble at first but this was my fault. If you are using any radio that is running OpenTX you need to make sure you download the proper firmware. You need to make sure your OpenTX firmware is downloaded with the "Multimodule" You can select this by going into the OpenTX Companion software click Settings and from the drop-down click settings again. In the window select "Multimodule". Keep the dial set to 0 and only the red light should be on. Then you go to your model and change PPM to Multi then select your RX for me it was DSM. I got this setup with the Inductrix without any issues. I think that people can run into a problem when changing the radio channel order. With other modules, you needed to change the channel order for the radio in order to get the correct changes for DSM. Set your radio to "AETR" and just bind to your aircraft it maps the channels for you automatically. If you have a Quad that uses BetaFlight then you need to change the channel order for DSM "TAER" in BetaFlight not in the radio. Also note if you were using a different channel order in your radio other then "AETR" (e.g. I had my set to TAER) all models created with your old channel order will be wrong (Warning you can get a fly-away remove props). Not sure if this can be corrected in OpenTX Companion software but if not you will need to create new models and rebind. So far I am very happy with the purchase and I love that it remembers each model. I had the OrangeTX and you had to always change the settings on the module before you turned on your Aircraft. So far this is worth every penny.

I got these to replace burned out motors on my FlyingFrog. They seem to have the same amount of power and are designed for 2s. You will see ones on the market that say they are 2s but they are not. A way to know this is if you see a comment that says the motors got hot. That's a sign that the motors are for 1s batteries. These motors are for 2s and don't get hot.

I made a 3s battery from these and they seem to do a very good job. The "C" rating is only around 20c but for just for cruising around they worked great. They do last longer than the lipos and are lighter and have more milliamps than the standard 2200mah lipo. There are others on the market (even here on Banggood) that have a higher "C" rating but these strike the balance point between power and cost.

I got the BabyHawk and this RX worked perfectly for this application. It's small and fits under the camera. You put the RX in bind mode using BetaFlight. There are several tutorials on how to do this. After I installed the RX binding took only a few minutes and I was in the air.

I got the BabyHawk and was looking for 2s batteries that had a high "C" rating. These worked out really well. I did remove the clear cap that's on the balance plug and saved a few grams. I get good punch-out for a 2s battery. The brand seems like a solid brand and would purchase these types of batteries again.

This board works great and has OSD built-in which is a great feature. The USB pointing down makes it difficult to do the calibration in BetaFlight but everything else works great and had no issues.
