So far so good with an easy setup. Telemetry to the radio and DJI OSD are working fine. Just waiting for the weather to improve for a maiden flight! Setup video is up on my Zaksterblue channel on YT.

The item listing doesn't give you two important bits of information: it is a 16:9 camera, and it has a fairly narrow FOV with the 2.1mm lens - maybe 110-120 degrees. I have posted a video review on Youtube (search for JJA Mini B19). Default settings blow out highlight areas, and I am yet to find good settings which provide a more balanced exposure. Otherwise, it seems sharp and detailed, with fairly natural white balance compared to my other cameras. If I had 16:9 goggles, I'd probably use it; though I have switched my planes over to Runcam Phoenix 2 cams, and there is no comparison for dynamic range and colour (though you pay 2.5x more for this). My B19 also came with a fault - I've tried the OEM and two other OSD controllers on it, and it will not accept a 'Down' command on any controller, only up and sideways. Not a biggie, but still poor quality control. You do get what you pay for.

Q: Hi URUAV - many of us need the thicker nose foam for HDO2, like on your other lycra goggle foam kits or black HDO2 foam. This flat nose section would let in light for me, so I will wait to see if you release another version. Please make another one with thick foam all the way around! (11mm thick if possible to get the lenses away from eye-lashes)

Q: Could you please update the ad to specify that this is a 16:9 camera. I just received mine to use with 4:3 goggles, and it's no good. Also a very narrow FOV, even with the 2.1mm (1/1.8") lens. Maybe wrong lens chosen for this 1/3 sensor.

BG502556513 Are you 100% certain your goggles don't have a 16:9 option somewhere in settings? Hope they do. If in doubt post asking if anyone knows of a way to find the option. Dude with the 'really' comment, maybe its obvious to you or maybe your kit is all 16:9, that's great, but why not just try help out someone who either doesn't have the kit or maybe doesn't know? It doesn't hurt you and you might just solve a problem that's second nature to you but others might struggle with, I hate to think how much I've wasted on incompatible kit due to just not being experienced or as knowledgeable as I wish I was, small stuff like 16:9 in the listing, or details on how to switch to 4:3 if possible might really help so I think the op does have a valid point, even if it may apply to a minority of buyers.

Well thought out and simple build. Only issue I had is the main glass fibre spar was about 3cm too long! I had to dremel saw it to get it to fit. Glad I noticed the instructions said to align the elevons with the raised inner foam instead of the wing-tips - even then my plane needs a few mm up-trim at 60mm CG. Flies ok, a bit of a wobble on the yaw axis which I didn't expect to see. I can slow it down into a reasonable high-alpha as well, though am using a light-weight setup to start with: 2206-2150kv motor and 1000-1300mah 4S batteries. Now that I've got a taste for speed, I'll be swapping in a 2208-2450kv and bigger ESC. A good buy whilst on sale - I got it for $49 AUD posted!

The BangGood lens is a little taller than the normal one. Different design inside and black in colour. The rubber seal is a little thinner than the original. Four stars because of these differences. But importantly, it fits, and the glass looks fine. The extra height should not make any difference to the image. Good value - nearly half price of the original.

Zakster Definitely not. DJI VTX needs Betaflight compatible telemetry data via UART. This FC has neither of those things.

Good value! Only needed a tiny bit of balancing. Not quite 9 inches wide using the Mayatech hub, more like 8.75", however, is running smooth and quite efficient.

The instructions are pretty ordinary and the casing for my Xt60 discharge module comes apart but the unit works well. As a battery meter it gives you an instant reading per cell and as a discharger it's quite effective. I appreciate being able to select the target discharge voltage. However as it is a balance Discharger while it can achieve target voltage quite quickly it then spends forever trying to balance the cells and does not have a particularly smart method.

A surprisingly stable and well thought out aircraft. The 2216-1400kv motor and 9x4.5" prop are the main doubts for me, as a 1100kv motor would suit more people running 4S, and be better paired with a 9x6" prop to give a reasonable balance of thrust and speed. That, and the one thin prop the plane came with broke after a couple of landings, so I had to swap it out anyway. I've already crashed this plane a few times and the foam breaks have turned out to be quite clean and easy to repair with UHU-POR and a bit of tape. Thumbs up so far!

An excellent device to test all your 5.8ghz antennas, and the impact that different 45/90 degree connectors and SMA pigtails have on your SWR and tune. Amazingly, my best performing antennas have turned out to be cheapies (I had a feeling they were good based on flight experience), and I now have a bunch of antennas that will never get used (what a waste of money!) Also interesting to see variances in the same 'high end' antennas.

Foam fits the HDO2 well and are as pictured in the ad. 10mm of soft foam (not Lycra or 'quality' memory foam as per ad description), and after some use I think will become too thin very quickly and need replacing again. But they are comfortable to start with and for me only let through a tiny spot of light around the nose. I will buy better products next time. if URUAV could make HDO2 version of their Lycra set, I'd buy it.
