heyheyhey anything from 7 to 27 volt will work.so yes, you can use a motorcycle Accu or powerport as source for this device

heyheyhey yes you can, the device will only pull out the amount of ampere it needs from the adapter. so any 12v adapter with at least 2A will be compatible with it.
