Favellski Igot both. There are problems with the DSO138's screen attachment which can lead to breaking the LCD if you are not very careful. I was aware of this issue beforehand, but it is still difficult to attach and/or remove. Apparently his was fixed with the mini. Otherwise they work pretty much the same, so go for the mini.
