Dave Hi this is a great drone & it’s well built, but I would use motor protectors if you are new to the hobby as you will crash and bend the bell housing like i did hehe. I use a flysky i6 transmitter and flysky receiver but I think frysky compatible transmitter would be better. Buy an extra motor or bell housing and a couple of extra arms incase you crash hard and spare props. I enjoy flying this drone it’s very smooth ;) I hope this helps
