Q: does it protect the screen???

Stephen Leung The is a small lip along the top and bottom so it does not touch the screen when faced down

Bought this to use as a base for my Zhiyun gimbal and I couldn't have made a better choice. Build quality is good, very good even for a clone. Can't complain at all. Has two height settings both very sturdy. The removable mini call head can hold a remarkable heavy load with ease. The ball head is fluid and locks well. The legs, although plastic are made from a sturdy dense plastic which doesn't feel its about to break. Folds up nice and there is some friction when closed so they don't splay open until needed. Compared to the Manfrotto Pixi EVO it's a fraction of the price and I doubt that its any less of a tripod - I'd go as far to say it was better.. !!!
