After I now used the phone for roughly a week, I feel confident enough to summarize my view on this nifty device. I came from an iPhone 6, which had battery issues and became quite slow, even for some simple functionality. Also the reception wasn't very good. WIth this device, I solved those issues. The battery lasts ages in comparison. From 100% charged, I could use it for 2 full days - and I didn't hold back playing games, looking on twitter, using the camera and browsing the web. Typical, normal usage. And the battery still was at roughly 20%. Charging then was extremely fast, and over a lunch break I was again over 90%. The CPU isn't the fastest on the market, yet I am still able to play 3D RPG-Games, and all the apps I generally use (twitter, outlook, firefox), load up quick, and don't show any performance issues or lags whatsoever. It certainly feels much faster than my iPhone 6 did. The display is wonderful, clear and bright, and I have no issues even when the sun is shining or other light sources are blending on me. It comes with a near stock android, just using a UI, that i immediatelly replaced with Nova, and also a 'too fancy' keyboard-app, that I replaced with the google-keyboard. There is a 'dodgy' Updater, which might send a bit more information than necessary, but I can live with that for now, and will soon look if I can bring LineageOS on the device. For me, this is currently the perfect companion. The only "downside" is the weight, cause it feels a bit heavy, due to the large battery, but that is literally the only trade off.
