Q: Can this be used as a car esc, if I mount a separate Bec my self. And if so, does it support reverse function as well?

BG141041717 I would also like to know if the esc is reversed. I have discovered that if you have bec you only have to solder the positive cable of the jst connector since it comes loose. I hope it helps.
