stephanej2 Idon't think so, the class IP44 in France (written in the details), means that the objet can support projections of water but not hard projections... So I'would not use it directly under rain...

stephanej2 SorryI aven't received the unit yet. But, as far a I'm concerned, it's to replace an old detecter I've "fu...." broken. But the important is to see you can introduce the cylinder in your lamp... and after it's seems to have a nut to fix it...

stephanej2 Idon't think so. It's indicated for AC85V~260V.
