The watch seems to be designed to be seen as impressively substantial. It is waterproof and quite a bit larger than it really needs to be. That's all good but the display is very dim and difficult to read, especially in moderate or dim light. I think that is because it has white/clear letters on a black background. It seems to demand the light even in normal room lighting. The watch works, though, and has survived several swims in the ocean. I'm only sorry I didn't get the black letters on white/clear background model.

This little disc rips through hard, brittle materials like a demon. My first impression when it arrived was that it was too thin and flimsy but of course it has to be thin and flexible to work as well as it does.

The mitre gauge appears to be well made and at least reasonably accurate but the shaped rod that should fit into my table saw's t-track is much too narrow so that it can be lifted up at any point and the mitre gauge wobbles several degrees. My table saw is a new Ryobi unit so I am surprised that it seems to be following a different standard without even offering the opportunity to specify the proper fitting size.
