BG494817142 yes, anything will work if it has usb c. though you will need a display port enabled usb c port to get a hdmi output. if the usb c port is thunderbolt (little lightning on top) all of the functionalities (including pass-through charging and hdmi output) will work as advertised for example: I am currently using it on my Asus laptop. It has a display port enabled usb c socket. I have an extra display plugged into it and everything works except for the pass-through charging because my laptop's usb c socket is not thunderbolt enabled Hope this helped
