csiluk Using a black Shockli 5500mAh 26650 battery which has an actual measured capacity of 6025mAh, I got 185hrs on the 1% mode, which is 20-25 lumens. On the 10% mode (approx. 400 lumens) I got 10.5hrs total runtime of which it ran 8hrs and 7 minutes at 10% then dropped down to 1% and ran for an additional 2hrs and 27 minutes. I did not test the two higher levels as this will vary according to your environment. Your actual runtime will vary depending on the quality and actual capacity of the battery you use, that's why no runtimes are specified. I even got 100hrs from a Panasonic NCR18650B 3400mAh (which is rated at 6.7A max) on the 1% setting, haven't got around to testing it on 10% setting yet, but I'm expecting about 6hrs at 10%. This battery will NOT run the M3 100% !!!

Q: I can't use a 120a ESC on 2s with this?

Asked by BG814212333 on 2022-05-15 03:04:06

panayiotis_1984 it works with 2s and 3s lipo. The less kv the more powerful is the motor and less top speed, the higher kv the less power has the motor but is faster in top speed. Generally a 3300 kv motor or smaller kv they are powerful for 1.10 or 1.12 rc's. Even a 4000 kv motor can take 3s lipo when use it in 1.10 rc cars. Over 4.000 kv the motor start to become less powerful. if you want higher top speeds choose higher kv motor's and don't put very big pinion gears or else you push the motor to do work that can do easily. If you want to do high speed passes put bigger pinion gear and big battery but don't drive hard in off road.

Q: Can i install it in Kyosho dirthog 1/10 ?

Asked by panayiotis_1984 on 2019-06-02 01:41:50

wolverineDave I think so , but to be sure ; you'll have to measure the distance beetween the transmission motor support ( plate where the motor bolt against in transmission ) and the esc plastic box right behind . You need to have at least 60 mm to put the motor there . After that you have to find space for esc , anywhere you can . I'm pretty sure with a small plastic grinder if you need to make room on the actual support for esc , it won't be difficult . If you do that , you'll have a missile dirt dog for sure 😉👍

MarcRCAddict Hello,if you have an electric motor that has a 3mm shaft that the motor pinion gear slides on to, but you want to use bigger pitch pinion gear that have a 5mm hole in them, you fit this inside the pinion gear hole, then you can use it on a motor that has a small 3mm shaft, hope that helps..
