Richard I bind them to a Jumper T12 Pro transmitter, which has an inbuilt 4-in1 Multi-protocol module. With a T12 (not Pro) I think you have to put a 4-in-1 module into the bay on the back of the TX.

HazzahFPV Using an Arduino nano or a flight controller you can connect to the ESC via the BlHeli Suite v16.x on your computer. There you can then turn on "Brake on stop". This will short all three motor-phases to ground when throttle is zero, acting as a brake.
