Q: If this is for a boat, where is the water jacket, and how would it fit over the fins?

GoonieBird I just purchased this motor & found out that this motor would be perfect for rc boats & you can find 55 series water jackets for this motor Everywhere. They go up as big as 56-57 & I think possibly 58 so like this motor is a “55”93 so it’s pretty easy to find the water jacket for this size.

As a miniature grinder it is fine for light use in confined spaces. Recommend for model building work. Just respect it is a small motor, but luckily it has an overload switch to remind you to take it easier. Good run time with the inbuilt battery, and of course, easy to charge with a mobile phone charger

A very good motor, with sensible revs. Don't expect the usual 40 size motor mount to fit. You'll need one to allow for the length, but are readily available. Best water jackets.

SeaShark ESC's too! Description is wrong. The SeaSharks do not throttle calibrate without this box. You need a programmable transmitter with LCD to match the low, middle and high throttle settings with this box. Once set, you're in, and can then set numerous parameters. More than usual, in fact. All very good stuff!

These SeaShark ESC's have been taken to the limit probably too many times. And they just keep going! Throttle smoothness is superb, and appreciate the reverse facility. BUT. Not one of the three l use, have ever worked 'straight out of the box'. They will not throttle calibrate in the usual way! You calibrate by using the program box first (Version 3) and matching your transmitter throttle settings with the program box.
