Yakacm The thing with this Heli is, if you make changes to trim, unless you set the trim back to the centre the next time you fly, before connect the radio to the heli, the trim you added last time, will be added on, thus doubling the trim. TL:DR, reset trim to centre every time you connect the heli.

Yakacm Yes, any radio with EdgeTX and a 4-in-1 unit will be able to bind to the E129, that's how I fly my E129 on my Radiomaster TX16s radio.

So, after a lot of grief I managed to get all the upgrades fitted and working correctly. The problems with this upgrade set starts with the fact that there are no instructions, not that I could find anyway, add to that the general small size of all the components, the fact my close in sight is pretty bad, and that I am old and drink too much coffee makes for a very fiddly and frustrating job. The 1st time I got it all back together I noted there was massive play in the head assembly, almost like the feathering shaft was now too long, this lead to the helicopter being uncontrollable. So here's where instructions would came in handy, because what's not immediately obvious is that you need to reuse parts from the head your are replacing. There are 2 clear rubber like bearing or spacers that need to go in the spinner thingy on top, but not only that, but there are 2 conical shaped metal spacers that need to be reused, these spacer are tiny so easily lost, luckily I was using a magnetic parts tray, so I still had them. The same wasn't true with the rubber bearing things, I had lost one of those, which I couldn't find again, but I just reused 1 of the bearing from the original set, after that all was good. Not too sure if it flies any better now, but it does look the part. I'd say this set is good, a great price, but very fiddly to fit, if you don't mind that then go for it. The XK K110S is a nice little true collective heli, just a bit bigger than the Nano S3, which for me, makes it a better size.

BG485183203 Howdid you bind it to your EdgeTX radio, I take it it uses one of the Esky protocols?

Must be the best fixed pitch ultra micro heli on the market right now. Build quality is great, flybarless system works great - heli can hover in one spot hands free but at the same time there is plenty of response and agility if needed. Due to its low mass, it is pretty much impossible to damage it in any way - very good heli for beginners to practice on, while the advanced pilots can have some fun flying indoors when the weather is bad outside preventing flying with a bigger, collective pitch bird. The only thing to remember is to push the hold switch just before or right after the crash so that blades stop spinning, otherwise one can strip the gears or burn the motors. Battery allows for around 5 min 30 seconds of flight time - this is approximately when the low voltage led starts blinking. I recommend flying around 4 min 30 seconds maximum, so that the battery does not get overstrained (leave some capacity left). Also, please take your canopy off if you intend flying over 4 minutes - otherwise the battery gets very hot, which will decrease its useful lifetime. If you wish flying with the canopy (which looks nice, and adds extra protection to the helicopter) limit your flight time to 3 minutes. Last thing I would like to add - I was able to connect this helicopter to my EdgeTx computerized radio (Radiomaster Zorro). With my computerized radio I am able to set the flight timer, have custom dual (or even triple) rates with Expo, as well as use custom dead band mitigation curves for Aileron, Elevator and Rudder (I am using less aggressive dead band mitigation on the Rudder channel). All in all, I highly recommend this product. Just buy an extra USB battery charger and 3 extra batteries to have more fun time in the air. Hope that Esky will continue producing those high quality mico helis.

BG485183203 Youneed to read what you are buying before buying it. There are 2 versions, 1 is BNF one is RTF, the BNF version is cheaper as it doesn't come with a remote, the other does. RTF stands for ready to fly, so it comes with everything you need, BNF stand for bind'n'fly, which means you have to bind (connect) it to your own radio before you can fly. It's very rare for that these beginners helicopter have a BNF version, but it's cool that they offer this, as it saves money for folk who have a compatible remote, and it saves on e-waste, as if someone has a decent remote they can use with it, the cheapo one that comes with it will just be tossed in the trash unused, I wished other cheap helis came with a BNF option.

Q: What you can unplug from the wifi labeled socket

BG485183203 WiFi, obviously. It's not used in the E129 but it is in other models, like that spy helicopter thing, I think it's E110
