I like this BMS! It has LED's so you can see what cells are being "balanced " (bleeding of 50mA ? curent from the top charged cells ). The 3.2V version looks to be for Lithium iron phosphate (Li-Fe-Po4) cells, and the "3.7V" version is for Lithium ion (Li-ion) 4.2V cells. The lifepo4 3.2V version uses the BM3451- BHDC-T28A, and the Li-ion 3.7 (4.2V) version uses the BM3451 -SMDC-T28A chip. So you need to buy the right version that fits your needs/battery cells. the chip can also be used for 3S, 4S and 5S configuration. you just have to remove one or two 0-ohm resistors of you wanna use a 3S BMS for 5 cells. the PCB is good quality, but I haven't tested it under high current over time. The controller chip on one of my BMS was mounted outside it's footprint, so I had to heat it up and move it.. anyways.. this BMS is sofar my favorite when it comes to tiny BMS'es.
When I examined the module, I noticed that the component was badly soldered. I sent a photo to BG's service, and they're sending me a new record. Thank you Banggoog for easy resolution of the claim.
thank you
as show in picture there are 2 resistors soldered together...
The PMS arrived in good time, however, I ordered one set for an S4 and got one set for an S3. This is fixable, but it's always best to get what you asked for.
these boards are excellent … the shipping was fast for the first time ever. I made a battery pack today , a 5S Lion pack to replace my old Nicads and the project went well! good Board! thanks
The manual that can be downloaded is very good and cover all questions and uncertainties. VERY good and useful. Not jet used, but now the hunt for batteries begin to build a nice battery bank for a solar system. I like the diagnostics that the LED's provide.
The lower price was very welcomed however this is the 2nd time I've ordered a four-cell version and got a three-cell version.
Very good and could be used in a lot of useful projects
It's okay
