Sounds pretty loud and clear ,I tested them with laptop usb slot. At 50% of my smartphone my speaker was at its maximum and there was slight continuous noise (it doesn't spoils the fun though) but it can be due to my soldering . Speaker used was 3watt 4ohm. Photos attached
