I'm using it with Jio and Airtel in India and both network works. This dongle has a powerful antenna which is better than Jiofi or Airtel hotspots. Speed is 150Mbps for 4G. It can acts as WiFi hotspot/ repeater too. Overall I'm satisfied with the purchase.

Always resetting to 4g after restart when set device so set to 3g mode. Any link for a firmware update to fix the issue.Device doesn't stick to umts after restart.Please suggest.

Good hardware. Uses a Qualcomm USB 6000 modem chipset and appears as a Serial Port in Windows when connected via USB. Connects at 10-15Mb/s to my UK carrier which is about all they offer at present. The software needs improvement. The hotspot can only have a maximum of 10 characters and only letters numbers and hyphens, making it extremely insecure. This level of password can be cracked in about 30 mins. Since the device appears as a Serial Port when using USB, any network throughput minitors won't be able to see it unless using the Hotspot. You can use it without the supplied software. The device reports itself to be a "Wireless Terminal" - a modem - in the network adapters, so you can connect using the windows dial-up profile by leaving the username and passwords blank and using the usual telephone number of *99#. You can then connect from the windows taksbar.
